I Sit

I sit and ponder

Often on these steps

Gaze out into a world

Of hectic pace and speed.

My life is tranquil and caring

As I follow the many

Park of green and leaves

Friends often come and play

Dogs day out

If only some owners

New the meaning of life.

 

And yet

I often prefer

These steps of cold

As I sit and ponder

If only for a wee while

Philosophy of mind

I often, do best.
